It's Adam's birthday, a simple text message sends him on a confusing inner journey, giving him hope for a fresh start and another chance at unrequited love.
This film is inspired by my own experiences and explores how overthinking can transform a simple incident (like receiving a random text message) into an overwhelming inner journey.
For my final project in Visual Communications at Shenkar- I adapted my original screenplay into a short mixed-media film. I wanted to highlight how getting lost in our thoughts can cause us to miss opportunities, and sometimes even life itself. My aim was to create a fun, humorous, and fast-paced viewing experience that rewards rewatching and makes viewers "feel" the rapid pace of our thoughts.
